The studio that stopped promising "free forever"
MediaBani is a web design studio in Hyderabad, India. We've built websites for small businesses across the country for years — and we relaunched with a simple correction: value over cheapness, honesty over hype.
Our story, honestly told
MediaBani started as a low-cost web design company. Like most of the industry, our early packages bundled "free" domains, hosting and maintenance. It worked — until rising registrar and hosting prices made those promises impossible to keep well. We watched the industry respond with renewal shocks and lock-in tactics, and decided to rebuild differently instead.
Today MediaBani runs on three things:
- The MediaBani Studio platform — our managed website platform, so small travel businesses get professional, SEO-ready sites without server headaches or plugin roulette.
- Custom WordPress builds — for businesses that need full ownership and custom features, delivered with every credential in the client's hands.
- Radical pricing transparency — domain and hosting at actual cost, receipts shared, exclusions listed, and zero ranking guarantees, because honest is the only sustainable business model.
Why travel businesses
We focus on tour operators, travel agencies, homestays and transport services because they have the clearest problem we know how to solve: OTAs and aggregators take 15–30% of every booking, while a good website with WhatsApp enquiries brings direct customers commission-free. Focus makes us better — our templates, content patterns and advice are built for travel, not adapted to it.
Where we work
We're based in Hyderabad, and work with clients across India remotely — onboarding, reviews and support all happen over WhatsApp and video calls. (We no longer maintain the old city-by-city pages; one honest sentence beats fifty doorway pages.)
